'%'

In this brief we were given a bunch of information, that made no sense for example 2% being pig headed and 0.8% beach ball. We had to communicate all the information given in a suitable manner we were also told the target audience would be the first year graphic design students. The first idea that came into my head was mobile phones for some reason. I thought students and I thought phones. I thought as an idea I could change the type on mobile phone keys to the information we were given on percentages. Then after talking to James I realised that not all the students have a mobile phones or how would I actually know that. So I actually went into the first year graphic design room. I looked around to see if there was anything I could use as a starting point. I saw a bookshelf and I thought I could alter the type on the spine of the books into percentages. Then i saw the blinds and thought there must be a way I can transfer the percentages onto the blinds or project them. I decided to go with the blinds design I worked with Hannah on this we both decided to use vinyl to put our percentages on the blinds. What we both hope to happen is for someone to roll the blinds down and find the percentages on it without telling the first year's, so we would be able to see how long it would take them to discover them.
